Meet our Physical Therapist and Staff
Amanda Briggs, PT, DPT, OCS
Amanda obtained her Bachelors of Science in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences from the University of Florida in 2017 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Emory University in 2020. She then went on to participate in an Orthopedic Residency through Emory University School of Medicine where she received extensive training in the treatment of orthopedic conditions. She treats a variety of conditions, but has a special interest in treating individuals with hyper-mobility disorders along with dancers, runners, swimmers, and athletes of all ages and levels.
Her treatment methods include manual therapy, dry needling, Redcord Neurac method, GYROTONIC, therapeutic exercise and strength training. She enjoys finding the combination of these methods that work best for each patient. Amanda works with each of her clients to develop a personalized plan of care designed to guide them to a more active and pain free lifestyle.
When not at work, Amanda enjoys baking cookies, exercising, hiking and spending time with her husband Charlie and their dog Murphy.
